 Who is at Night Prayer?

Everyone is welcome at Night Prayer, whatever your faith.

In the quiet of chant, story and song, there is no need to conform. Night Prayer is about finding your center in a community of solace.

Night Prayer is a service of the Episcopal Parish of the Messiah an Episcopal church serving the people of West Newton and Auburndale, but you don't have to be Episcopalian, or Christian, to take part in Night Prayer.

Night Prayer is wheelchair accessible.

Everyone is welcome at Night Prayer.

It was definitely a respite from a busy world and very meditative.
As I was sitting there I was contemplating several troubling issues in my life and two of them came side by side. I was given tremendous clarity about something I was really struggling with and I feel that this will lead to some peace and comfort.
I appreciated the respectful silence before and leaving in silence at the end.
I loved all the candles and the responsive chant with the congregation. Perfect length to the service. I'll add my name to the mailing list and come again.
What a beautiful service! I felt so peaceful when I left that I was glad for the added twenty minutes of solitude as I drove home. The voices combined so wondrously, and the timeless music and prayers were magnificent. So glad to start 2006 renewed.
