At Night Prayer there is no sermon, no dogma.
Just a half-hour of peaceful music,

Our choir, Schola Nocturna,Night Prayer takes place at the
leads us in Latin and English chants.

Night Prayer is on Summer Vacation
"Night Prayer," an evening of music and prayer is on 'summer vacation.' Night Prayer returns in September with simple Anglican Chant, and the full choral service returns in October.

Auditions for Schola Nocturna
The Nght Prayer choir, Schola Nocturna, is looking for all voices for next year. Singers must be strong sight-readers and have some prior experience in a choral setting. For more information, including on scheduling an audition, please download the audition notice by clicking here.
Support the Newton Food Pantry
You are invited to join Night Prayer and the Parish of the Messiah in
supporting the Newton Food Pantry. There will be a collection box by
the main entrance to the church, where you can bring canned and dry
goods (rice, pasta, soups, and more). There is a great deal of "hidden"
poverty in Newton, from house-bound elders to young families recently
out of work. In this current economy, your donation to the Newton
Food Pantry means a lot. Thank you.
